The other day the kids and I were walking out to the chicken coop to gather some eggs. When we got there I opened the back of the coop and to my surprise there was a jumping spider on the door ledge eating on a stink bug. He was very bold, didn’t budge and just kept on eating. Now, I am NOT a fan of spiders by any means, but it’s cool to know he’s helping keep the insect population down. So we’ve worked out an arrangement, he’ll continue to live rent free in the coop, while in return he helps keep the bugs out!
